ISA-TRAESKO has always been a family business: this applies especially to the early years, when Gerhard and Karin Heinz still ran the company from their home and the telex machine rattled the family out of bed on Saturday mornings. Or when the whole family later pulled night shifts in the port of Hamburg to make sure the first big shipments from Asia would reach the customer on time.
With the official entry of their two children Ulrike and Carsten at the end of the 80s, the generational change began: the founders’ business became a second-generation family business that has preserved the sense of community and the values of its early days to this day. Even though our ISA-TRAESKO family is now spread across four continents, it is driven by the same entrepreneurial spirit and unerring sales instinct as at the beginning.
